NCRTC has invited global bids for the signaling and telecom systems of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor. Modern ETCS Level-II signaling will be a system that will be used for the first time in India to be integrated with LTE backbone based virtual block, ATO functionality and platform screen door. The design speed of the RRTS is 180 kmph, while the operating speed of the RRTS will be 160 kmph. In such cases, LTE backbone will also be helpful in ETCS data, mission critical voice and on-board CCTV streaming. Telecom subsystems like CCTV, PIDS, PAS, FOTS, ACIDS, Master Clock, Telecom SCADA, Telephone, CDRS and Train to Ground wireless networks are also part of this package. The system will be interconnected with the other two corridors (Delhi-Panipat and Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar).
