NCRTC starts Piling Work on Delhi-Ghaziabad- Meerut RRTS Corridor

NCRTC has started the piling work near Duhai on Delhi -Meerut road today. This is in continuation of works being carried out for implementation of India’s first, 82 km long Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut RRTS Corridor. Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, Managing Director along with Director/Projects, Chief Project Manager/Ghaziabad and other senior officials of NCRTC were present on the occasion.

Piling work is done to build foundation of structures for building elevated viaducts. NCRTC had recently awarded the work of construction of viaduct and station in Ghaziabad-Duhai section to APCO–CRFG JV. Construction areas will be suitably barricaded to ensure safety of citizens during construction. The construction sequence has been planned carefully to reduce inconvenience to pedestrians, residents and commuters. Traffic marshals will be deployed to maintain smooth flow of traffic during construction.
