Government of Uttar Pradesh communicated its approval to the Delhi-Gazhiabad-Meerut RRTS on 19th May 2017. GoUP has approved the DPR and the proposed project. Necessary steps are being taken by GoUP for provision of token money towards its contribution in the project in the budget for financial year 2017-18.
