Organization of Community Interaction Program at Modinagar
Sensitization of stakeholders about the project and construction progress is of utmost importance for a huge project like RRTS. Continuing its efforts to engage with its stakeholders as a practice NCRTC today organized another Community Interaction Program at Modinagar.

एनसीआरटीसी ने हिन्दी को दैनिक कामकाज की भाषा बनाने, कर्मचारियों में जागरूकता उत्पन्न करने और हिन्दी के उत्तरोत्तर प्रयोग मे तेज़ी लाने के लिए 14 से 28 सितंबर तक अपने मुख्यालय और प्रोजेक्ट कार्यालयों में हिन्दी पखवाड़ा का आयोजन किया।
Unveiling of the First Look of the RRTS Train
The first look of RRTS (Regional Rapid Transit System) train was unveiled today by Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs in presence of Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, Managing Director National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and other senior officials of MoHUA, NCRTC and Bombardier India.
Loan agreement for US $500 million(Rs 3,750 crore) signed between ADB and Government of India
A loan agreement for US $500 million, which is the first tranche of approved US $1 billion loan, was signed today between the Government of India and the Asian Development Bank for funding the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor.
Shifting and modification work of UPPTCL Electrical High Tension Line
NCRTC has completed the shifting and modification work of UPPTCL Electrical High Tension Line, i.e. 220KV, single circuit, near Modipuram Depot in Meerut.
Nukkad Natak Sessions
NCRTC today conducted Nukkad Natak Sessions at its casting yards in Vasundhara (Package I & Package II) and Ghaziabad RRTS station site to sensitize and make the labourers aware against COVID-19 while practising ‘जान भी, जहान भी’.

Asian Development Bank Funding
In a significant development, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) today approved USD $1 billion funding package for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor.
