NCRTC celebrated Namo Bharat Diwas at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marking the second anniversary of the commissioning of Namo Bharat services for the people. The event was graced by Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs, as the Guest of Honour. Shri Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary, MoHUA, was also present on the occasion. Shri Shalabh Goel, MD, NCRTC, along with the Directors and senior officials, welcomed the dignitaries.
The Hon’ble Minister of State launched the Namo Bharat Signature Tune, giving India’s first semi-high-speed regional train a distinct musical identity. The occasion also featured the Annual NCRTC Awards Ceremony, where employees were felicitated for their exemplary performances during the year. A vibrant cultural programme, When Music Danced- The R.D. Burman Saga, was also presented by the Western Railway Fine Arts & Cultural Association with the support of Central Railway Cultural Association.
