The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor witnessed its third successful tunnel Breakthrough in Meerut. Sudarshan 8.2 (Tunnel Boring Machine) constructed this 2 km long tunnel between Bhaisali to Meerut Central and made a breakthrough through the tunnel retrieving shaft built at Meerut Central Station.
During the event, MD appreciated the commendable efforts of the team of engineers and workers of NCRTC, general consultants, & M/S AFCONS for achieving this significant milestone.
In Meerut, out of 5.5 km of twin tunnels, 5 km of tunnels have already been constructed.
