Urban Mobility India Conference & Expo 2022

At the 15th Urban Mobility India Conference & Expo in Kochi, NCRTC exhibition booth highlighted several social and economic benefits RRTS project will bring in for people of NCR, new-age technologies being adopted, implementation progress, and preparations under way for trial runs. During the three-day event, several senior dignitaries including Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala; and Shri Kaushal Kishore, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, acknowledged the concept and utility of India’s first Regional Rail, pace of project progress, and extra efforts being made to provide comfort to commuters. NCRTC booth attracted large number of visitors, including officers from several metro rail and transport sector companies, young students from colleges and schools of Kochi city, and other delegates. The theme this year for the Conference organized under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) was ‘Azadi@75 Sustainable Atmanirbhar Urban Mobility’.
