Temporary Spaces for Marriages/concerts/exhibitions

NCRTC is launching an initiative to provide designated station spaces for temporary uses, such as metro markets, farmer haats, cultural and musical events, community functions, food festivals, workshops, and factory outlets among others.
RRTS stations, strategically located in prime areas, serve as excellent venues for community engagement and activities. These spaces can be utilized by businesses, artists, and community groups for a wide range of activities.
The goal is to lease parking spaces at stations for temporary use while establishing RRTS stations as unique destinations for markets, events, exhibitions, and other activities. By transforming these stations into vibrant activity centres, we aim to enhance ridership and create a lively atmosphere. Additionally, generating non-fare box revenue through short-term licensing of NCRTC’s spaces will contribute to sustainable development efforts.
