Construction of Launching shaft for tunnelling started in Anand Vihar, Delhi for India’s first RRTS corridor
The construction of launching shaft commenced today in Anand Vihar, Delhi for Tunnelling work. The first Diaphragm Wall (D-Wall) panel reinforcement cage of size of about 20 m deep (equal to height of a 10-storey building) and 5 m wide was lowered and concreted. With this milestone, construction of underground section for RRTS has entered the next stage.

ETCS2 Signalling system for RRTS Corridor
NCRTC will pioneer the use of the most-advanced signalling and the train control system in India’s first RRTS. The adoption of the modern European Train Control System Level 2 (ETCS L2) signalling over the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) communication backbone with the adoption of state of art Hybrid Level 3, will make RRTS to have one of the most advanced signalling and train control system of the world.
Construction work started at New Ashok Nagar, Delhi
RRTS construction gains further momentum in Delhi. Recently, foundation work for the RRTS viaduct near Dharamshila Marg, New Ashok Nagar in Delhi has started.
