Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, MD, NCRTC, today reviewed the on-going works on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor along with the Directors and other senior NCRTC officials. Shri Singh visited critical locations including four casting yards, station sites, and stretches where launching gantries are erected for the launching of spans of the viaduct. He appreciated the measures taken for mitigating pollution from construction work and directed officials to follow all related prescribed guidelines in letter & spirit.
Shri Singh also asked project managers/contractors to set the priorities right, focus on critical areas, plan meticulous execution of work parallelly to expedite the construction work while ensuring the highest standard of quality. He also took stock of the steps being taken to ensure the health and safety of the workers in wake of COVID-19.
