The visit began with an introductory presentation on Namo Bharat – India’s First Regional Rail at GatiShakti Bhawan, followed by an insightful interaction with NCRTC MD Shri Shalabh Goel, and Director Finance Mrs Namita Mehrotra. The probationers then visited Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat station to learn about the station’s design and multi modal integration, followed by a ride on the Namo Bharat train from Sarai Kale Khan to Anand Vihar and Meerut South.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Centre of Excellence ‘Aparimit’ and other facilities at Duhai Depot, offering insights into the technology, infrastructure and operational aspects of the Namo Bharat system.
