Shifting and modification work of 20th Electrical High Tension line

The shifting and modification work of 20th Electrical High Tension line of 132 kV, Double Circuit of North Central Railway

The shifting and modification work of 20th Electrical High Tension line of 132 kV, Double Circuit of North Central Railway from Dadri to Sahibabad near Sahibabad RRTS Station has been completed successfully. There were a total six EHT lines infringing the 17km long priority section between Duhai to Sahibabad. With this, 5th EHT line of priority section has been shifted. Shifting of this line was very critical and sensitive, given the difficulty in getting shut down of the transmission line affecting the train operation of the Indian Railways and severe problem of ROW. However, the NCRTC team carried out the shifting and modification work with utmost precision and planning and that too by following the Standard Operating Procedure in view of the COVID-19 outbreak which includes thermal screening of officials and labourers, use of sanitizers and maintaining social distance.
