Secretary (Telecom) & Chairman Digital Communications Commission Shri K Rajaraman; Shri Sanjeev Agrawal, Member (Technology); Shri Manish Sinha, Member (Finance) along with other senior DoT officials visited the RAPIDX corridor. Mr Vinay Kumar Singh, Managing Director, NCRTC, accompanied them on this visit.
After viewing the demonstration of the signalling and train control system, he complimented the team on the successful implementation of ETCS L2 signalling over the LTE (Long Term Evolution) network. He also had first-hand experience of mission critical voice communication and video application on the train running at high speed of more than 150 kmph.
