In a significant step towards DPR finalisation, a stakeholder consultation workshop on SNB Urban Complex-Sotanala RRTS Corridor was held in Jaipur today. It is a part of prioritized Delhi-Alwar RRTS corridor. The workshop saw a detailed discussion with participation from various government institutions including MoHUA, NCRPB, various departments of Government of Rajasthan including DMIC, UIT & UDH, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Indian Railways, and DMICDC. Addressing the workshop, Chief Secretary, Rajasthan Government, Shri DB Gupta said that RRTS will not only address the issues arising due to urbanization but will also help in reducing pollution in the state. Team NCRTC gave an overview of the project to the participants. MD, NCRTC, Shri Vinay Kumar Singh said, “Delhi-Gurugram-Alwar RRTS corridor will be a gamechanger for transportation in the region. It will not only result in socio-economic development but will also bring people and places closer in NCR.”
