NCRTC paid tribute to the Kargil heroes of the Indian Armed Forces. A memorial zone was inaugurated by Shri Shalabh Goel, MD, at New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat station. This zone features the brave hearts who fought in the Kargil war.
The event was graced by Mrs. Tripta Thapar and Colonel V.N. Thapar, parents of Kargil martyr Capt. Vijyant Thapar.
An Art Assembly was also organized, where students from various schools participated in this event and expressed their tribute to the brave hearts of the nation through drawings. Moreover, a storytelling session by a celebrated author, Mr Rishi Raj, where he narrated a story of soldiers’ courage at Kargil.
