A delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by Ms. Aman Trana, Director General, Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD), visited the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor.
The delegation visited Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat Station to experience the station’s multimodal integration initiatives and gain insights into NCRTC’s vision of seamless, efficient and sustainable regional mobility. The delegation also took a ride on the Namo Bharat train to Anand Vihar station and back, experiencing first-hand the comfort, speed and modern travel experience offered by India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System.
The visit was followed by an interaction with the NCRTC team at GatiShakti Bhawan. Such engagements provide valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and institutional collaboration, reinforcing the shared commitment towards efficient project implementation, robust procurement practices and the development of future-ready transport infrastructure.
