NCRTC has operationalised the deployment of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel across the Delhi section of Namo Bharat corridor. The formal induction was marked at New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat station in the presence of MD, NCRTC, Shri Shalabh Goel and Director General, CISF, Shri Praveer Ranjan, along with senior officials from both the organisations.
At the event, NCRTC MD handed over a symbolic insignia key to DG, CISF, signifying the formal transfer of security responsibility for all Namo Bharat stations in Delhi, i.e. Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, and Anand Vihar. NCRTC is also developing dedicated accommodation facilities, barracks, for CISF personnel to be deployed on the corridor, for which the foundation stone was laid at the New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat station during the ceremony.
