On the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas, NCRTC paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces, honouring their indomitable courage, valour and sacrifice. A programme was organised at Begampul Namo Bharat Station, in which school students and NCRTC officials participated.
The Chief Guest of the programme was Colonel Rajesh Tyagi (Retd.), who was part of the 4 Jat Regiment during the Kargil War. Colonel Tyagi shared his experiences from the war with the audience and recounted inspiring stories of the bravery of Indian soldiers.
To familiarise young people with the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a drawing activity on the theme “Guarding the Borders” was also organised for the students. The programme also featured a musical performance by youth band Abhigarv, making the occasion even more memorable.
