President of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Ms. Zou Jiayi, visited Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor along with other senior delegates of AIIB. They were welcomed by NCRTC team led by Mr. Shalabh Goel, MD, NCRTC, and other senior officials.
The visit commenced at Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat station where a comprehensive briefing was made to the President, AIIB, on India’s first RRTS (Namo Bharat), outlining the project overview, advanced technologies deployed, and its pioneering initiatives. The delegation also interacted with commuters onboard and learnt about their experience of travelling on Namo Bharat and how it has reduced the commute time significantly and enhanced their quality of life.
