Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs Shri Tokhan Sahu travelled on the Namo Bharat train from Sahibabad Station to Duhai Depot, as part of his visit to India’s first RRTS project. Accompanying him were NCRTC MD Shri Shalabh Goel and other senior officials.
The visit began at the NCRTC headquarters, Gati Shakti Bhawan, where Shri Sahu ji was briefed on the progress of the RRTS corridor between Delhi and Meerut. NCRTC officials highlighted that the project is being executed within the stipulated timeframe, adhering to safety standards. At Sahibabad RRTS station, Shri Sahu also learned about the contributions of the women staff members ensuring smooth operations. During his visit to Duhai Depot, Shri Sahu visited the workshop, inspection-bay-line (IBL), and the Center for Innovation, ‘Aparimit,’.
